pain in the back of sweet chocolate

Issues in “  bittersweet story of chocolate”  article that made by Tim Costello is about children labor force in chocolate industry. In this article Mr. Tim Costello show that he is not agree with the presence of child labor in the chocolate industry, because it is dangerous for children. He said in the article “ I’ve been to the cocoa field of West Africa and have seen exploitation first-hand. Children labor for long hours in high humidity and use dangerous machetes. “ .  And based on my research, there are a lot of abuses in the chocolate farming that given to children.

In my opinion, child labor must be stop. They are not a machine or slave who can be treaded unfairly and they shouldn’t work hard and get a lot of pain in their age. We should take steps to prevent child labor. Because almost everyone in the world like and consume chocolate, we cannot close the chocolate companies, but we can pray for them and spread this issue to the world. By spreading this issue, government WILL take a step by making law against the child labor and check or do survey to several chocolate companies. This research, check or survey must be done in every chocolate company, especially in West Africa, Ghana and the Ivory Coast , since, 70 per cent of the world's cocoa supplies come from West Africa, Ghana and the Ivory Coast. And for those companies who do child labor must be punish by the government.

I hope my blog reader can help those children by spread the issue and keep praying for them. Because we really need to stop them who do child labor, based on research child labor has increase by 5% since 1990. Don’t get this number increase, but makes this number into none. Lets prevent child labor.
